Orlando Holiday FAQs
How do I plan an Orlando holiday?
Planning a trip to Orlando can be a struggle, even for people who’ve been before. If you’re an Orlando first time visitor, it can be hard to understand just how big it is. Just Walt Disney World alone is over 25,000 acres, which is around 43 square miles. That’s pretty much the size of Greater Manchester!
Now add in all the other cool things such as 2 theme parks at Universal Orlando and their brilliant water park – Volcano Bay, SeaWorld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens, Legoland, International Drive, The Kennedy Space Center, all those outlet shopping centres and you’ve got a jam-packed adventure.
The easiest way is to speak with your own Orlando Guru. They’ll help plan and book the perfect Orlando holiday just for you. Get in touch now.
How many days do you need to see Orlando?
The longer the better. If you’re visiting Walt Disney World, you’ll need at least 6 or 7 days to not feel rushed. At Universal, we recommend 2 or 3 minimum. This can vary depending on how busy the parks are.
It’ll also vary depending on if you’ve visited before and how long ago.
Our most popular Orlando holiday packages include 4 nights at Universal and 10 at Disney, plus maybe time elsewhere. Speak with an Orlando Guru who’ll help you work out how long you’ll need.
Is Orlando a good place to go on holiday?
We’re kinda biased, but yes Orlando is an awesome place to go on holiday!
There’s so much to see and do. It’s not just theme parks too. Head to the Space Coast and visit the amazing Kennedy Space Center, swim with Manatees, chill at the beach or set sail on a cruise.
What are the best months to travel to Orlando?
There’s not really a bad month to visit. Each month is different so it’s working out which suits you the best. You can read our guide to the best months to visit Orlando in our Orlando Travel Guides
Can you give me some example holidays?
Your trip should be personalised just for you. After speaking with one of our Orlando Gurus, they’ll tailor-make a holiday.
If you’re planning a trip to Universal Studios Orlando & Walt Disney World Resort, we recommend splitting your stay. Here are some Orlando vacation ideas. Our most popular package is 4 nights onsite at Universal and 10 nights at Disney.
An Orlando week itinerary might include staying onsite at Disney World so you’re closer to the magic.
If you’re planning a trip to Orlando on a budget, we work with great-value hotels that are close to Disney and Universal.
Should I stay at a Disney World Hotel?
In an ideal world, yes you should stay onsite at a Disney hotel. You’re as close to the magic and parks as possible saving you precious time travelling. Extra benefits include extra time in the parks, being able to pop back to the room to escape the sun (or rain) and the feeling of being within the Disney bubble.
It’s not always possible, mainly due to budget. Chat with an Orlando Guru and they’ll help you.
Can you tailor make a holiday for us?
Without trying to sound too much like Lumiere, but of course. It fact, it’s what we do best.
You may already have a travel agent you normally book with or usually do it yourself online. But this isn’t like going for 2 weeks self-catering in Benidorm. Your special holiday requires special assistance.
And if you’re not really sure what you’re looking for, don’t worry. Your Orlando Guru is full of lots of cool ideas.
Are there any extra fees booking with you?
We don’t charge you any extra fees for booking with us. In fact, Walt Disney World and other destination pay us to book you to visit there.
The only time there might be extra fees is if a hotel charges a resort fee. But don’t worry. We’ll let you know about them in advance and also suggest some alternative hotels too.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Sometimes, even the best laid plans go wrong. It’s good to know that you’re just a call away from our help desk. They’re here 24 hours a day. Somethings they’ve helped with recently include cancelled flights, snow, hurricanes, lost passports, missed connections & even drones!
It’s good to know you’re just a call away from help.
Do you have good reviews?
Your feedback means a lot to us, and we’re so glad that you’ve found our service top-notch. But don’t just take our word for it! Our Trustpilot rating speaks volumes as well: 5 stars from over 5221 happy families. In fact, we have one of the highest ratings of any travel agency, anywhere.
