Infants & Toddlers – It’s A Small World Nursery
If you’re planning a Disney Cruise and have young children, the It’s A Small World Nursery is the perfect solution for you. This dedicated childcare center is available on all Disney Cruise ships and is designed to cater to children aged from 6 months to 3 years old. It offers a safe and engaging environment where parents can feel at ease while their little ones are taken care of.
It is the only childcare centre on the Disney ships which is not provided free of charge
It’s important to note that the It’s A Small World Nursery is the only childcare center on the Disney ships that is not provided free of charge. However, the fees are reasonable considering the quality of care and the peace of mind it provides. Pre-booking and advance reservations are required, and this can easily be done online through the Disney Cruise website.
Advance reservations are required and can be made online
To ensure that your child gets a spot at the It’s A Small World Nursery, it is highly recommended to make advance reservations. This can be done conveniently online, allowing you to plan your cruise itinerary with ease. By booking in advance, you can rest assured that your child will have a place secured, providing you with a worry-free vacation.
Juice and crackers are available for snacks, but lunch and dinner are no longer provided
The It’s A Small World Nursery offers snacks such as juice and crackers to keep your little one satisfied during their stay. However, it’s important to note that lunch and dinner are no longer provided. Parents are now required to provide their child’s meals, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences. This allows you to have full control over what your child eats while in the nursery.
Parents need to provide diapers, wipes, and pull-ups for their child
Just like meals, parents are also responsible for providing diapers, wipes, and pull-ups for their child while they are in the nursery. This ensures that your child is comfortable and taken care of throughout their stay. It’s recommended to pack enough supplies for the duration of your child’s time in the nursery to avoid any inconvenience.
Parents can bring their own formula, bottles, and baby food
If your child has specific dietary needs or preferences, you have the option to bring your own formula, bottles, and baby food to the nursery. This ensures that your child’s nutritional requirements are met and helps maintain their routine during the cruise. The staff at the It’s A Small World Nursery will work closely with you to ensure that your child’s individual needs are catered to.
Parents can attend the open house to help their child adjust to the new environment
To help your child adjust to the new environment of the It’s A Small World Nursery, parents are invited to attend the open house. This allows you to familiarize yourself with the nursery, meet the staff, and introduce your child to their surroundings. It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions or address any concerns you may have, ensuring a smooth transition for both you and your child.

Whether it’s solving puzzles, playing video games, or engaging in physical challenges, there is something for every child to enjoy.
Beloved Disney Character Encounters
One of the highlights of Disney’s Oceaneer Club and lab is the chance for children to meet and interact with their favourite Disney characters. From Mickey Mouse to Elsa and Anna, children can have magical encounters with beloved characters during their time at the club.
The Disney character encounters are carefully orchestrated to create unforgettable moments for children. They can take part in character breakfasts, participate in interactive storytelling sessions, and even join in dance parties with their favourite characters. These interactions create memories that will last a lifetime.
No Reservations Required
Unlike many other children’s clubs, Disney’s Oceaneer Lab does not require reservations. This means that parents have the flexibility to drop off and pick up their children whenever it is convenient for them. Whether you want to enjoy some alone time or explore other areas of the cruise ship, you can rest assured that your children are in safe hands.
The drop off and pick up process is streamlined and efficient, ensuring a smooth experience for both parents and children.
